Charming 19th century coach house belonging to the monumental villa at Loolaan no 40 in Apeldoorn. Recently renovated. At walking distance from 'Paleis het Loo', 'Orpheus' theater' and city centre. Private coach house and terrace with a view over the green garden. Straight under the roof, there is 2 separate cosy bedrooms with 2 double beds. Downstairs is the hallway, the washing room with shower, the lavatory and the kitchen/living room.
Next door there is the reputable restaurant the 'Bon Vivant', specialized in game dishes and French dishes such as steak tartare and vinyard snails. The restaurant also serves excellent wines. At the other side is one of the Apeldoorn's oldest pubs, Herbergh het Oude Loo. This pub still has many original details and still has a Wilhelmina billiards table and honky tonk piano, which can be played by the guests. The pub also serves delicious snacks and basic meals. A salient details is that both catering places were already frequented by Prince Hendrik III, husband of late Queen Wilhelmina, more than a century ago.
At short distance alongside the Loolaan, there is public bus stops for regular bus transport to and from Railway Station and direction Deventer, Zwolle, Arnhem and Amersfoort. Pick-up and other transport services are available at request and additional payment.
